Created to coincide with and complement our RapidFit toilet cubicles and vanity units, our MR MFC and solid grade laminate IPS panel offer is available in a choice of nine décor options.
Entirely compliant with DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) requirements, they provide an aesthetic way in which to cover sanitaryware and plumbing configurations.
Simply place behind urinals or toilet facilities to allow your on site plumber easy access for ongoing maintenance.
Your core choice will mainly be in relation to your project budget and requirements.
MR MFC (moisture resistant melamine faced chipboard) is typically regarded as the standard choice by many specifiers. Supported by a 5-year guarantee, we would recommend this for low traffic areas that are unlikely to be exposed to moisture.
Whereas our solid grade laminates/ compact grade offer is produced to a higher specification and so this is reflected in the cost.
Our solid grade IPS panels are backed by a 10-year guarantee, robust and also 100% waterproof. This means they are better suited to high traffic areas, such as schools.
All of the design options are available off-the-shelf, meaning we can quickly supply to any new enquiries or ongoing projects.
With dedicated fulfilment depots throughout the UK, delivery will be carried out by our own fleet, directly to your site.
As well as its use as a wall lining system, Selkie Board’s class 2 fire protection makes it suitable for use in kitchen areas as a splashback.
Their non-porous surface prevents any damage via splashes or spillages during food preparation.
As all of our commercial goods are manufactured in-house within our 67,000+ sq ft manufacturing facility, we can produce panels to your size requirement and spec. This allows us to offer our IPS panels in either a full or half height design.
Full height, as the name suggests, would result in your integrated plumbing system taking up the full floor to ceiling area behind your toilet cubicles/ urinals.
Whereas a half height IPS panel would never exceed past the wall mid-section.
In is down to personal preference whether you would then like the top of the IPS panel to be angled, to prevent the use of your panels as a storage facility, whilst also preventing the build-up of dust.
